The Sunforce 60022 30 Amp Solar Charge Controller prevents overcharging of 12-volt batteries. It is intended for use with 12-volt solar panels, and can handle up to 30 amps of array current and up to 500 watts of solar power. The controller will continuously display the charging current or battery voltage on the LCD digital meter, and also automatically indicates the charged condition of your battery on the LED bar graph. The 60022 is designed to work with all kinds of 12-volt solar panels for indoor use.

If you are buying this unit because of price and features beware! I can tell you as I am looking at the product right now the discription “Continuously display the charging current or battery voltage on the LCD digital meter” does NOT apply to this unit. But the discription below it “Automatically indicates the charged condition of your battery on the LED bar graph” is accurate. So if your good with that buy it. I haven’t used it and I’m not going to so I can’t comment on how it works, but the other reviews seem positive.

This product is what I was looking for. It was easy to install and set up. The only drawback I’ve found is that the LED charge level lights are a little hard to read. I would recommend this to my friends!

very good product. I have it controlling a 500 watt solar array. First one failed after about a month, amazon replaced it, no problems since.
