I bought the Valley Forge Solar Liberty light at a RV Ralley in Nephi, UT. I paid cash and lost the receipt. The light worked great for about 1 month of use (off and on), then it started behaving like a strobe light, the two bulbs flashing on and off quickly. I contacted Valley forge by phone, and without a receipt or registration of product, they would not even talk to me. I again contacted them, and asked them to send me a replacement bulb and battery pack (at my expense), and they refused to do this also. The only thing this light is good for now, is my trash can.

The product works as described. Just make sure you ain your solar panel correctly and get the light close to your flag.

This solar light is not going to light your flag up like day light.Your going to get a low light that does light up your flag.So if your like me,I think the soft light really gives my flag a mist eek look.I have had this Liberty flag pole light in use for two weeks.It works,looks and feels great and I think it’s well built.

I am disappointed in this Solar Light for the flag. It does not shine bright nor for the length of time that was indicated. Would not recommend the product.

Up until now, I’ve never been able to fly my flag at night without violating flag-flying etiquette. Now, thanks to the Liberty Light Flagpole Light, I fly it all night long. Installation was easy. I make special note that my light installation is on the north side of the house where the solar panel only gets about 2 hours of direct sunlight a day. Yet, Old Glory flies gloriously all night in all her splendor, lighted automatically, from dusk ’til the dawn’s early light – powered by the green energy captured from the sun.
